RTL-SDR
Reading time: less than 1 minute RTL-SDR is the name given to USB dongles that can be used to receive I/Q samples. They use a chipset that was originally meant to be used to watch Digital TV on computers, but with the help of a debug mode in the chip, raw samples can be received from a wide frequency range.
