Browser Harden - Privacy and security extension

Browser extension to remove JS clutter and improve privacy.

Introduction

Browser Harden (or browser-harden) is a browser extension that aims to patch or remove non-essential JS APIs in order to reduce the browser attack surface and improve privacy.

Install

You can install Browser Harden from Mozilla Add-ons. There is no package for Google Chrome yet.

Source code

The browser-harden code is hosted on GitHub at gkbrk/browser-harden. You can download the source code in a ZIP archive as well.

Contributing

The most important method of contribution is to file reports for broken websites and new fingerprinting methods / Web APIs that are not covered by browser-harden.

Another way to contribute is to share the extension with other people in order to increase usage.
