If your package needs some approval or import tax, the delivery status will change to something similar to “Waiting at customs”. Once you see that, you will need to contact FedEx and ask them about this. An email that worked for me in the past is turkey_customs@mail.fedex.com
.
You need to give them the following information.
- Tracking number
- The contents of the package and for what purpose they will be used
- Mention that this is a product you purchased (not a gift)
- Clarify that you wish to import this product as a person (not as a company)
